Ten different street pole banners appeared along Market Street in San Diego near Mt. Hope Community Garden. The project promotes the area around the Community Garden as up-and-coming in providing healthy options around food production, preparation and eating, along with aspirations to provide activities in the community such as cooking classes, arts and musical events and other things that bring residents together for better health. We worked with Project New Village and the (Southeastern) Diamond Business Association, Inc. to conceptualize, design, print and hang the banners. The banners wore out over the years due to weather conditions and are so well liked, the County of San Diego Health & Human Services along with Live Well San Diego sponsored a new installation of the same design in 2020.
